What’s left in store for our Class of 2025 Seniors? The end of year is full of events for the senior class, from the longstanding tradition of prom, to Senior dress up days, to the Senior field trip.
The traditional favorite Senior event still reigns supreme.
“I’m super excited for prom,” senior Charlotte Dollar said.
Although it’s tough to beat prom, there are other Senior activities that many students are looking forward to.
“I’m excited to go with my friends on the field trip since it sounds like the venue is pretty nice,” senior Kimmy Nguyen said.
Senior Sydney Hawkins has similar thoughts.
“I’m looking forward to Senior Sunset because it’s kind of bittersweet, like our last little moments before we all go our separate ways,” Hawkins said.
Not every activity can be a hit with students.
“Some senior events are based on the popular kids, so if you aren’t one of them, it’s kind of just for them,” senior Destiny Williams said.
Outside of special activities, Senior year is still full of great opportunities to be social.
“I feel like especially in my senior year I made a lot of really close friends,” Dollar said.
After four long years of school, students understand how important it is to manage time between home, school, and extracurriculars.
“I have been able to balance Senior year a lot more than I normally would be able to,” Hawkins said.
Even if Senioritis hits, students still have to try their best for their classes.
“Senior year has been a little bit stressful because I’m in the early college program,” Nguyen said.
By now, most seniors have decided on what they want to do after high school.
“I plan to go to Texas A&M Commerce and Major in Animal Science,” Williams said.
