Get to know a little bit more about junior Gabriel Hale, a first year Eagle Media staff member and budding photographer.

Q: How would you describe yourself?
A: “I would describe myself as outgoing, courageous, and smart-ish.”

Q:  Give an example of you being outgoing?
A: “
There was this time I took pictures of a persons dog and it was jumping around everywhere so I decided to take the pictures of their dog and show it to them.”

Q: What are your strengths and weaknesses?
A: “
I work pretty well with others. I don’t really work well on my own, that’s a weakness. Another strength, I’m always able to be as creative as I need to be. A weakness, it’s hard to work in stressful situations. I’m not a big fan of being pushed or rushed into doing things like being timed.”

Q: What is your favorite subject in school and why?
A: “C
urrently my favorite subject in school is photography because that’s what my career choice is going to be.”

Q: What is your least favorite subject and why?
A: “I’m a junior so I have physics. I’ve always been told that physics has never been fun. It’s math, science and some other subjects so it’s pretty complicated.”

Q: You have one more year left in high school. How does it make you feel?
A: “My sister just graduated so I’ve seen what it’s like. I’m honestly really excited because once I’m out of high school there’s a lose the whole burden of grades although I do have to worry about college. So it’s a mix. [I’m] excited to get out by not ready for the responsibilities quite yet.”

Q: Do you plan on studying photography or anything else for a major or just a side class in college? well A: “I’d really like to major in photography and I want to travel the world.”

Q: You want to travel the world, do you have any dream places you want to go?
A: “I really want to visit Washington, not DC, the state because I’ve seen a lot about it and there is a photographer I follow who does photography in Washington. I know several locations I’d like to visit, but for further out in life I’d like to visit Tuscany Italy.”
