Meet the Staff: Jazmin Umana

Get to know a little bit more about senior Jazmin Umana. This is her second year at RHS, a member of the Iron Eagles and a first year Eagle Media staff member.

Q: Who do you look up to and what qualities do you admire about that person?

A: “I look up to my aunt. I admire that she is the kindest person I know with an amazing heart, she loves to help people and also gives amazing advice.”

Q:What is your biggest strength and biggest weakness?

A: “I think of the positive side of things and motivate myself to do them even if it’s something I don’t like. My biggest weakness is, I push my mental health away and focus on other people’s mental health knowing that I’m not okay.”

Q: What is something that represents you as a person and why?

A: “Koalas because I love to sleep and eat.”

Q: What are some of the first things you notice about someone when getting to know them?

A: “I notice their personality and their vibes because lately I haven’t liked to be around people who are negative because I push myself to be better and not go back down.”

Q: If you met a genie what would be your 3 wishes and why?

A: “To get me to my life goal, have a better relationship with my mom, and for my step mom and dad to get married for an amazing big family.”

Q: What is your biggest regret?

A: “not being able to have a great mother-daughter relationship.”
