Meet the Staff: Christian Reyes

Get to know a little bit more about senior Christian Reyes, a member of the tennis team, a first year Eagle Media staff member and an aspiring author.

Q: How would you describe yourself as a person?

A: “I would describe myself as someone who is very outgoing and eccentric. I love meeting new people and trying new things.” 

 Q: What is your biggest fear and why?

A: “Not meeting my own expectations. I set myself to a high standard and am always afraid of being seen as a failure in my own eyes. However, I’ve started to do a better job at doing my best and telling myself that that is enough.”

Q: What things make you happy and what makes you angry?

A: “Something that makes me happy is my friends. I love seeing them in and out of school and I wouldn’t be where I am without some of the people I have in my life.”

Q: What makes you unique?

A: “Something unique about myself would be my self expression. Whether it’s through style or writing I love expressing myself in a manner that is unique to me.”

Q: What are you passionate about and why?

A: “I am very passionate about my writing. I know that writing is something that I want to carry with myself throughout my life and implement into my future career.” 

Q: I notice that you seem to be into fashion. What’s your favorite style to wear and who would you say influenced your taste in clothing?

A: “I take a lot of inspiration from street style looks when putting together an outfit. Oversized clothing with long silhouettes is the most common theme within my wardrobe. There isn’t one person in particular that has influenced my style, rather I take inspiration from many different people on social media that display their own unique style. I like using ideas I find on Tik Tok or Instagram and seeing how I can use clothes I already have to build my own style.”
