Playing Sachse April 12 on their home field ended with a loss this time around for the varsity baseball team.

“[It] felt really good to help the team; felt like a small victory,”  sophomore Connor Hill said, after scoring a run for the team.

After the game they will use this loss to clean things up for playoffs.

“If playoffs were tomorrow I feel we’d have a really good shot at winning,” Hill said. 

*Update: The Eagles face the Rockwall Yellowjackets in Round 1 of the State Playoffs. Game one of a three game series is Thursday, May 5 at 7:30 pm in Rockwall.
