As the baseball season ends, seniors must decide on their next steps, and reflect on their years playing. For some the game has been their whole life. “Baseball has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old, it has taught me discipline, respect, and accountability,” senior Jaxon Kirkhuff said. “It will be hard leaving not only high school baseball, but my friends Brock and Antonelli I have been playing with since I was four years old, the relationships created with this team will last a lifetime.Kirkhuff, who will be continuing his baseball career at Central Baptist College, said his biggest influence is his “mom and dad for always cheering me on and encouraging everything I do.”
