The Lady Eagles fought in their single game UIL State Softball Playoff series against the Rockwall Yellowjackets Thursday, April 28, but unfortunatetly not every game ends in the win column. Both teams were backed up as the stands were filled with fans to show their love for their favorite team. “I love crowds because it makes me feel suported,” sophomore Morgan Lavallais said. It was a crushing 18-0 shut-out loss, but the team is looking ahead. “We just need to sharpen our skills on the field,” sophomore Tamira Skinner said. Several team members play select into the spring and summer months, so watch for them to come back stronger next year.
