Rowlett High School participates with the National Math and Science Initiative,  which works to expand access to challenging coursework and improve student achievement. With millions of students lacking access to the rigorous math and science classes that will equip them with problem solving skills, RHS takes a serious approach to critical thinking and collaboration skills in order for students to thrive, regardless of what career path they choose.

District Superintendent Ricardo Lopez along with the GISD board members attended the pep rally to congratulate students.  As well, the Silver Rhythm Dancers, cheerleaders and band performed.
