With all of Rowlett’s sports doing the best in the district, the girl’s soccer team is living up to that expectation. As the soccer season begins for the Eagles, they have been undefeated.
“We’re 3-0 right now so we haven’t lost any game yet, and we’ve been beating all the teams by a lot,” senior Julianna Reyes said.
Beating the Titans 3-1, the Rangers 5-0, the Owls 4-1, and the Patriots 8-1, winning is definitely on these girls’ goal list.
“I’m looking forward to, hopefully, winning a lot more games this year and having a better season than we did last year,” senior Emily Umana said.

With the season off to a great start, the seniors of the Rowlett Lady Eagles’ soccer team eagerly wait for Senior Night.
“It’s kind of bittersweet. I can’t wait for senior night, but I feel like this season is going to be a great season,” Reyes said.
Although this is the last district season for these seniors, it won’t be the last of the soccer team.
“I’m sad because I’m very close to them, but I mean they’re not the whole team,” junior Priscilla Garcia said.
Soccer is not just a sport for these lady Eagles, but a get-away.
“The thing I love the most about playing soccer is getting away from everything and it’s like an escape,” junior Illiana Garcia said.
With the season just starting, these Rowlett Lady Eagles have more to accomplish.
“I’m mostly looking forward to hopefully playoffs and going with beating Sachse,” freshman Maleah Ferguson said.
