Vanessa Villyard. sophomore, is no stranger to the art world.  Since the age of four, when her kindergarten teacher told her to draw a bowl of apples, she has found herself lost in hours of perfecting her craft or completing whatever masterpiece she is determined to create.

Villyard has been chosen as the RHS featured artist of the month.  She plans to attend an art school in Japan after she graduates and pursue a career in either fashion art or comic book artistry.  Villyard’s favorite styles of art are charcoal, digital and realistic.  When asked what inspires her, she said,  “Other artists plus, art is a calming escape from everything.”
