The renovations are part of the $1.279 billion Bond, Proposition A voted on in May 2023.
Regardless of the playing conditions, players are still focused and ready.
“We had a lot of energy, we played Garland and we kicked their butt. That was fun,” senior Kailei Goforth said.
Enjoying the final moments with teammates before the end of their high school days, words of advice are passed on.
“To not let everything get to your head and always have fun no matter what, even when stuff gets hard,” Goforth said.
With a successful regular season, they are headed to the State of Texas UIL Softball Playoffs with a home game against Rockwall Heath on Thursday, April 25.
